How to add a frame to a profile picture

To add a frame to a profile picture, open the link someone sent you, choose a photo, drag until your face sits in the round window, then tap Share photo and Save Image. You do not install an app or create an account. The result is a square PNG you set as your profile picture in WhatsApp or Instagram.
Add the frame to your photo
- 1
Open the link
The person running the campaign sends one address, usually in WhatsApp. It looks like ollabs.studio/c/your-campaign. Open it in the browser you already have. There is nothing to install.
- 2
Choose a photo and fit your face
Tap the circle and pick a photo, or drop a file on it. Drag to move. Use Size to zoom. The framed face stays on screen while you adjust, so you see the result before you save.
- 3
Save the picture
On a phone, tap Share photo. In the system sheet, tap Save Image. That writes the PNG into your camera roll. On a computer, Download is the button that should lead. iPhone browsers inside WhatsApp and Instagram ignore a plain download, which is why Share photo comes first there.
- 4
Set it as your profile picture
Open WhatsApp or Instagram, edit your profile photo, and choose the picture you just saved. Do not crop it again unless you have to. The campaign already fitted the face to the window.
Make a frame for your group
If you are the organizer, you publish the link before anyone else can use it. Go to Create, upload a square PNG with a transparent middle, or start from a color ring. Name the campaign, publish, and send the link to one group chat in the first hour. Most campaigns that get a supporter get that person within an hour of sharing.
Supporters never make an account. They only need the link. A second campaign splits the count, so if a save fails, fix the save. Do not start over.

What the file should look like
- ·A square PNG. Profile photos are square, then the app crops them to a circle.
- ·Your face in the window, the campaign art around it. Text and logos belong on the rim, not over the face.
- ·No watermark and no payment screen on the download.
- ·A separate tall 9:16 file exists for a story. That one is not the profile picture. Save the square first.
When the phone will not save
If the page says it could not save here, tap Open in Safari (or Chrome on Android), fit the face again, and use Share photo. The error sits next to the button. There is no popup to dismiss by accident.
The longer version, including why Download fails inside WhatsApp on iPhone, is in the guide on saving a framed photo.
Common questions
How do I add a frame to my profile picture?
Open the campaign link, add your photo, drag your face into the window, then tap Share photo and Save Image. Set that PNG as your profile photo in WhatsApp or Instagram.
Do I need an app or an account?
No. Supporters open the link in the browser and leave with a picture. An account is optional, and only for the person who wants their campaigns listed under My campaigns.
Does my photo get uploaded?
The framed picture is built in your browser. Ollabs does not keep a gallery of supporter faces from the save itself.
Is there a watermark?
No. The PNG you save is the photo and the frame. Ollabs does not charge supporters to remove a mark.
How is this different from Twibbonize?
Both put a frame on a profile photo from one link. Twibbonize can put a watermark on the download and charge to remove it. Ollabs does not. See the comparison for the rest, including where Twibbonize is the better pick.
